We've seen some Samsung Galaxy S25 rumors, but not much about the updates that will appear in the camera array. Until now.

Two different posts about X tipped the news about a potential update to the S25 line camera. But the biggest news is the Galaxy S25Ultra leak.  He regularly leaks Samsung information and claims that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ will not see any major changes from the Galaxy S24 version.  Both should have a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra wide angle, and a 10MP telephoto lens, which is what is currently on the Galaxy S24 and S24+ phones.

He announced another post shortly after this, saying that the S25Ultra has a 200MP main camera, 50MP ultra Wide, 2 50MP telephoto lenses, and 1MP telephoto lens. One claimed to have a 3x zoom, and the other 1 claimed to have a 5x zoom. 

The Samsung Galaxy S24Ultra has been controversial due to a downgrade from 10x telephoto to 5x optical zoom, and the S25Ultra appears to maintain its capabilities. 

Staying on the Galaxy S25Ultra, another leaker Sperandio4Tech has revealed which sensors will be utilized to run the camera on the Galaxy S25Ultra. 

They claim that the ultra-wide-angle lens will be equipped with a version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor, which is probably "smaller than the S24Ultra's sensor and 50MP" which matches the Galox leak from above. The S24Ultra ultra wide angle lens is 12MP. 

The 3x telephoto camera is supposed to get an isocell sensor that is 24 inches larger than the current 1/3-inch Sulatra sensor. Again, the 50MP resolution is said to be much higher than the S24Ultra telephoto's 10MP.

In his post that Samsung will focus on AI and algorithm tweaks to make the most of the S25 line's cameras, rather than physically improving the camera, Sperandio4Tech claims that new algorithms are being prepared, but there were no further details. 

We have time to gather more information about the possibility of updating the Galaxy S25 series. We will probably not see an announcement from Samsung until early next year. 

The line has been tipped to feature Qualcomm's next Snapdragon 8GEN4 chip, which could raise the price of Samsung's flagship phone. The closer we get to the end of the year, the more we will know.
