WWE made a big splash with its first "Clash at the Castle" event two years ago. The second edition of that premium live event, WWE Clash of the Castles 2024, will soon begin at the OVO Hild in Glasgow, Scotland.

At the last Clash at the Castle, Drew McIntyre failed to dethrone Romain Reigns as the undisputed WWE Universal Champion. So can the Scottish Warrior be more pleased when he challenges Damien Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship today?

Elsewhere, it has been suggested that Uncle Howdy will return tomorrow on WWE Raw with a new faction, but can this creepy figure and his mysterious crew actually play a role today? That remains to be seen.

"Clash at the Castle" is of course heavily promoted with Drew McIntyre (a Scotsman challenging for the world title in his home country), but Drew, a three-time world champion, is not the only Scot participating in this premium live event Not the only one.

Piper Niven, fresh off her attack on WWE Women's Champion Bayley and Naomi last night on WWE SmackDown, is another who will be challenging for gold in her home country, facing Role Model for the blue brand's top women's prize. Then there is the duo of Isla Dawn and Alba Fire, who will challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships in a triple threat match.

On top of that, the Gallus Boys, now seen in NXT, could show up at Clash at the Castle to make a big statement in their hometown of Glasgow, perhaps to push back Drew McIntyre, whose shadow looms large over CM Punk! Many have speculated.

She is also guaranteed to have the always mischievous Chelsea Green in her corner as Niven, who hails from about 20 miles away from Glasgow, looks to win her first major singles gold medal in WWE.

For Chad Gable, he gets another shot at the WWE Intercontinental Title, while the Olympian battles Sami Zayn. Gable is in the middle of his career push since turning heel against Sami earlier this year, when the Alpha Academy man forever stood out on WWE programming. Having previously fallen short against both Gunther and Zayn for that Intercontinental Championship, it could be time for Chad Gable to finally get the job done. If so, will it be with the help of his Alpha Academy peers, or will an alliance between Gable and the Creed brothers come to the fore?

Rounding out the WWE Clash at the Castle card is the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defending against Shayna Baszler and Zoe Stark and the Scottish duo of Isla Dawn and Alba Fire! .
