Earlier this month, several images were leaked showcasing the display of Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 foldable phone. These images gave us a decent idea of what the display would look like closed and unfolded, but we didn't get to see much of the phone.

The new image comes from regular leaker Ice Universe (via SamMobile) and shows off some more angles of the upcoming device.

The first image shows the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 next to the Fold 6. The new phone can be seen to be wider than the previous model. Also, the hinge is less noticeable on the Z Fold 6.

Although it appears to be wider, it was recently revealed that the inner and outer displays on the Z Fold 6 are the same size as last year's model. The upcoming phone's display is finely superior to the Z Fold 5.

More than that, the sharp corners of the new Z Fold 6 contrast sharply with the more gently rounded corners of the older phone in the comparison photos.

The new images show off the camera array, which also looks very similar to last year's model. Internally, the Z Fold 6 is expected to feature the exact same camera setup as the Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4. The leaked promo images from earlier this month also confirmed this camera arrangement.

It is a surprising move, to say the least, to have no updates to the camera in three generations of phones.

The angle of the dummy phone confirms that the sides of the phone are sharper and flatter than the Z Fold 5. This gives the phone an overall more modern, albeit more boxy, feel.

On the right side of the device one can see the volume buttons and the fingerprint scanner.

Between the lackluster hardware updates and the high price, a slightly new aesthetic may not be enough to get people excited about Samsung's next foldable phone.

We'll know more soon, as leaker Evan Blass seems to have confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 10. It has long been speculated that Samsung is about to release its new Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable phones and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra smartwatch before this summer's major sponsor, the Paris Olympics.
