After that shocking cliffhanger (not to mention its steamy carriage ride) at the end of part 5 of Season 3 of "Bridgerton" on May 1, fans aren't so patiently waiting to see how the rest of Season 3 of the Regent・era romance drama plays out. It was the first time in the history of the film, especially between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

On 6/3, Netflix released a 3-minute teaser promoting all the dramas that still appear in Season 2. The clip picks up shortly after Colin's proposal to Penelope outside the Bridgerton Estate, much to the confusion of Pen's former BFF Eloise with his sister (Claudia Jessie) as we watch the youngster announce his engagement to his family. In a change from the book "Romancing Mr Bridgerton," Eloise knows that Penelope is actually a secret scribe known as Lady Whistle Down.The fact that Penelope threatens to reveal to Colin before the wedding if he is not himself.

As for what fans can expect from the final episode of Season 3, showrunner Jess Bronwell recently teased Yahoo Entertainment, adding that there are still "a lot of plots" in the third season. 

"If the first half is rom-com, a light, playful, awkward joke, then the back half is an arrow of steadily rising tension. That little mess you saw behind episode 4 keeps it ramping up late.

It is clear that the whistle-down scandal will cause considerable tension in the Bridgerton family ("Colin can't discover my secret. Whistle Down is power," Penelope worries in the trailer) and all across the ton, executive producer Shonda Rhimes actually speeds up the timeline of the story of "Bridgerton"
