Prime Video is quickly becoming the home of video game adaptations. They've just hit the blockbuster "Fallout" and they also know that streamers are already working on the "God of War" TV show, and they see no sign of stopping. 

Streamer has confirmed that a new live-action series based on Sega's Yakuza video game franchise will appear on screens around the world on 10/24. 

Hosted by acclaimed directors Masaharu Takemoto and Kengo Takimoto, "Like a Dragon: The Yakuza" brings to life the franchise for the six-part Crime-Suspense-Action series, which revolves around the main character of the original series, Kazuma Kiryu (played by Ryoma Takeuchi).

Yakuza games don't translate into streaming as well as Fallout because being a franchise with a beloved character and lots of loyal fans, however, going off what Yokoyama Masayoshi (the studio's head and executive producer as Ryu) said in an announcement press release, it's a good idea. The series is poised to become, in his words, "another groundbreaking release of the Like a Dragon series."

The synopsis of the Amazon series is:In 1995 and 2005, the original crime-suspense-action series, "Like a Dragon: The Yakuza," follows the life, childhood friend and influence of Kiryu Kazuma, a terrible and incomparable yakuza warrior with a strong sense of justice, duty and humanity."

If you're still diving into the world of yakuza crime, the most installments are the vast story within the fictional district of Kamurocho, with the first game arriving in 2005, usually roaming the open world of the game and exploring quarrels with fellow gangs, managing a business or singing karaoke. You can participate in any type of task, such as creating a new task, creating a new task, or creating a new task. Kiryu Kazuma was the main character, and the enthusiastic Ichiban Kasuga stood on the center stage like a dragon: Yakuza of 2020.

Each game has its own story, but Prime Video presents "a dramatic story of modern Japan and these intense characters like the legendary Kazuma Kiryu.""

Most of Amazon's announcements were clearly designed to rest fears that this would be anything but a real take that wouldn't confuse longtime fans. Yokoyama said he has never thought of "revisiting" any of the series' works so far, but insisted that the show is "an experience I want to make" and his full statement about the show is as follows:

"Since the day I first put a pen on paper in the original Yakuza script, I have never seen my work in the series." Re any of the work it does is because it understands well the challenges and difficulties that come with recreating the finished title. But if I've ever been sent in the past through some sort of cosmic joke, this is the experience I want to make. If I had to go through the aperture anyway, I'd like to make the most compelling versions of Kamurocho and Kazuma Kiryu — and this show has it all. 

"There's no doubt that Prime video's 'Like a Dragon: Yakuza' will be another groundbreaking release of the Dragon-like series," Yokoyama says.1 "The game allows you to experience their world through a subjective lens, but this adaptation will ultimately be an objective way to enjoy the show

"There is no doubt that fans of the series will be attracted to the way they breathe life into the game and add new surprises. Newcomers, I'm sure I find myself simply investing in the gritty realism of the show. If anything, I'd like to see this version with an audience from around the world — experiencing all of its strength and soaking up every second.

"Like a Dragon: The Yakuza" will be released in two batches of 10/24 (Thursday) and 11/1 (Friday) 3 episodes 2. Subtitled and dubbed versions in 30 languages will be available to viewers.
