The doors of Computex2024 have finally opened, with state-of-the-art laptops and other AI-powered devices being unveiled as computing experts at tom's Guide exploring the grand Nagpand Exhibition Center in Taipei, Taiwan. The show will be held until 6/7, so we expect a lot of cool new products to be announced from now to this weekend.

On Day 1 of Computex, we saw a laptop made of recycled plastic, a camera that can be livestreamed in 3D, and AMD's new powerful Ryzen AI3000 chip. For Day 2, we've been treated to an exciting handheld Pc, potentially the most advanced Wi-Fi7 router we've ever seen, and a massive avatar-themed rig shaped like a robot the size of your average NFL quarterback. Because why not.

Some of the biggest and coolest announcements from Computex2024Day2 are:

Intel Lunar Lake, just announced at Computex this year, is on board Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip. The company's new flagship SoC finally has the top to meet the standards Microsoft has set for Copilot+ PCs. Compared to the slightly weaker 11.5 TOPS that Intel's Meteor Lake range collected, Lunar's 48TOPs represented a considerable upgrade, and the AI laptop finally met its full potential.

Intel said that more than 80 different models are currently working across 20 different OEMs and they should all be launched by the end of the year. It is a very important part of our lives. In the chip space, this feels like Intel's most important new processor range over the years.

The original MSI Claw has been released for months, but something has already been desired, mainly due to the nasty software that makes the game launch more tricky than it should be.Well now there's a new claw on the block and it's shaking up some serious upgrades.

The biggest draw of the newly announced MSI Claw8AI Plus. The shift in CPU technology it uses. The OG model's Meteor Lake chip is out, and Intel's new Lunar Lake processor comes in, which significantly improves in-game performance. The new handheld PC also has a larger 7-inch screen compared to the standard Claw's 8-inch display, but the full HD resolution and 120hz refresh rate remain the same.

Another big draw at MSI Claw8AI Plus 1. This is a transition from a 53Wh battery to an 80Wh version, which should be able to squeeze out more juice from the ai Plus than its predecessor. MSI's updated handheld can give the ASUS ROG Ally X a real run for its money. 

Wi-Fi7 continues to gain traction, and it seems that both Acer and Asus are leading the charge. In fact, the latter actually promises a new lineup of routers that offer "wire-like performance." Currently, Aftershock Bubble Tea PC seems to be only sold in Singapore, but perhaps this ultra-colorful rig is the final product in Taiwan and beyond.

zotac, a company primarily known for making super-powerful Gpus, has finally entered the handheld PC space in the zotac zone.

The most exciting feature is to turn off the right bat. 120 inch AMOLED screen with maximum refresh rate support 7Hz. Steam Deck OLED's latest rival doesn't support VRR, but it looks like it packs a lot more power than Valve's blockbuster gaming device.

The Zotac zone is powered by AMD Ryzen7 8840U APR (Hawk point), with Zen4CPU locking the 12RDNA3 calculation unit (thanks, VideoCardz). According to rumors, the zone will be significantly more expensive than the Lenovo Legion Go as early as 9 a.m. this year and can retail for aboutー800.
