Recent rumors indicate that OnePlus13 may undergo a bigger photo upgrade than expected. And that's what it can help take Samsung's next big phone.

The news comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known leaker who shared on Weibo that the next OnePlus phone will have 3 50MP cameras. DCS also says the telephoto lens will be upgraded to an optical 3x zoom with periscope lenses and added too, meaning a new Hasselblad Master tone mode, possibly an improved color profile. 

This combination makes the phone so close to the Samsung Galaxy S25Ultra that it has recently been ordered to use a 50MP ultra wide angle, 50MP3x telephoto lens and 50MP5x telephoto lens, however, the Galaxy S25Ultra also comes with a 200MP main lens, which far surpasses its completion on most other phones when it comes to resolution. But hopefully, for OnePlus, the overall similarity means that the oneplus13 can offer a better photo competition against the S24Ultra than its predecessor, the OnePlus12, does against the Galaxy S25Ultra. There are signs that OnePlus can also change the shape of the OnePlus13's screen to make it more rounded. Perhaps the new OnePlus will be equipped with a "quad micro curved display", and the OnePlus13 will have rounded edges not only on the sides, but on the top and bottom.
