If you think the 115-inch TCL QM89 is a big-screen TV, you haven't seen anything yet: Tcl makes 11-inch, 130-inch, 148-inch and even 163-inch displays at the Gen1 manufacturing plant

All the details around the new display will be announced at an event in Warsaw, Poland. It was designed and covered by FlatpanelsHD. 

Even though the factory is not yet fully operational, TCL is already starting to release 163-inch TVs in China — the X11H Max uses Micro-LED panels in the same guise as the very premium (somewhat out of reach) Samsung Micro-LED range. 

How affordable will these new super-sized TVs be? Now, the TCL QM8 mini LED, the flagship TV in TCL's 2024 TV lineup, costs just11,500. This does not mean that these large TVs will match the price of the QM8 (the aforementioned 115-inch QM89 is currently 26,000), but the price could fall as more panels come from TCL's new panel fabrication plant.

The TV is certainly getting bigger, but what TCL says it can produce in the future is the biggest TV we've seen outside of custom commercial displays used in sports stadiums. The introduction of its QM89 mini LED TV is one of the exciting promises for those who enjoy such a large screen estate, and TCL says it will be even bigger

To make a screen of this size, TCL CSOT (TCL's manufacturing division) uses a huge glass plate that serves as the top layer of LED-LCD TVs. The company aims to develop the next stage of the best TCL Tv through the investigation of 130-inch mini LED LCD panel. TCL CSOT can realize this promise by slicing 11G mother glass in half and offering two 130-inch panels. 

But 130 inches may be a little too small, don't you think? TCL agrees with this and wants to bring a 148-inch mini LED TV to market.This marks the largest screen a 16:9 11G mother glass can produce. The cost of production of this model will be significantly higher, so if it is officially launched, it could be one of the most expensive TVs in TCL.1 

TCL CSOT does more than just design panels for in-house models. It also offers 98-inch LCD panels to Sony, Samsung, LG and others, so you may soon see these larger sized TVs from more premium brands. 

As long as you'll actually have a 148-inch mini LED TV in your home, but still unknown, the TCL QM89 is an ever-expanding TV size ratio get ready to pay a premium for them when they arrive.
