Inspired by the heartbreaking true story of the von Erlich brothers, "The Iron Claw" follows Kevin von Erlich, Zac Efron as the second son in the family of professional wrestlers under the thumb of their domineering father, Fritz von Erlich (Holt MCCALLANEY). In the early 1980s, Kevin and his brothers worked to make history in the world of professional wrestling and build a family legacy, and Efron has joined an all-star cast including Jeremy Allen White, Lily James, Harris Dickinson, and Maura Tierney.

"Iron Claw" is one of the rare biographical sports dramas that can be entered without knowledge and still be riveted by all the twists and turns.1 Note that like WWE, this movie can be ugly. I mean, really ugly. And the fact that it's all based on real events only amplifies the emotional impact. Even with its harsh subject matter, "Iron Nails" stands out as a remarkable film, offering a powerful performance throughout.
