HULU's spy mini-series "Veil" FX offers an impressive showcase for star Elizabeth Moss, who surely excelled as British intelligence agent Imogen Salter while Pa Imogen and Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan) traveled from Syria to Paris, and beyond. Play a game of deception and betrayal so as to avoid spies.

Creator Steven Knight makes great use of familiar elements of the spy genre to provide a fast-paced thriller over the course of six episodes. For viewers looking for more from more powerful female spies and/or Moss in this week's finale of "The Veil," there are plenty of options. The most obvious comparison point of Imogen Salter is CIA agent Carrie Mathison, the often unstable protagonist of this long-running spy series. Like Moss, star Claire Danes imbues her character with a mix of vulnerability and ingenuity, and Carrie's emotional investment in her missions is what often leads to her success. Carrie frequently crosses the line with her targets, but she does her job in ways that no other intelligence officer can.

The quality of "Homeland" varies over the course of its 8 seasons, especially after the departure of Damien Lewis which potential double agent Carrie is investigating when the show begins. But it's always driven by Danes' great performance, and Carrie has become one of the 20 most compelling TV characters of the past 1 year.

A mini-series based on the book of legendary spy novelist John Le Carré, directed and starring the Korean writer Park Chang-wook Florence Pugh, Michael Shannon and Alexander Skarsgard, this should not be underestimated. This stylish, engrossing six-episode series is set in 1979 at the height of Cold War tensions. The Cold War is just the background for the main focus, however, with Pew as the British actress, Charlie Ross, recruited by Mossad to infiltrate the cell of Palestinian terrorists.

While the international conflict remains sadly timely, as the "little drummer girl" approaches the people she is meant to bring down, the Pew within Charlie is charming as a young woman blurring the line between acting and reality, and its convincing performance can be life and death at any time.

Moss plays another type of investigator in this dark and intense Australian series. Robin Griffin of Moss is a police detective who travels from Sydney to his rural hometown and is involved in the investigation of the disappearance of a pregnant 12-year-old girl. Like Imogen, Robin is emotionally troubled and gets too close to her case, in this case almost everyone involved knows her life

Oscar・nominated director Jane Campion ("The Power of the Dog") gives "The Lake Top" a solemn, meditative tone, making it a sensational film. Without giving in, potentially Moss fixes the show with a sensitive, affecting performance, making Robin far more than just a detective piecing together clues. She solves the mystery, but personal expenses mean that her life will never be the same.

Perhaps the best drama series of the 21st century, "The Americans," was released in Washington, D.C. in the 1980s.C.Sneaking deep in the suburbs and living everyday life as a couple with 2 children trying to get government secrets and sabotage U.S. intelligence.

The domestic and espionage elements are equally important, and what makes "the American people" so brilliant is that the main characters end up where their "real" identity ends and the cover story begins.Reese and Russell are astounding, playing with the sympathy of the audience as agents working to cripple American power. The story remains tense and complex throughout all six seasons, often leading to devastating consequences.

Imogen has a closer personal relationship with Adira than she is officially sanctioned, but she is known as Villanelle (Jodie Comer), although this often happens to be the campy spy drama's Tie Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh) starts the series as a meek MI5 analyst. Her obsession with assassins who kill her from the office

Villanelle is equally obsessed with Eve, and their toxic quasi-romance remains a central focus throughout the seasons, even as they try to kill each other repeatedly. "Killing Eve" begins as a heightened version of the spy thriller and is more ridiculous as it progresses, but Oh and Comer see it as an inexplicable and undeniable emotional

While Imogen is said to be an expert in undercover work, she's also known as Sydney Bristol. You can't get close to Wu (Jennifer Garner)."Sydney's alliances often change when working in different institutions and sub-institutions, pursuing complex conspiracies that are often perpetrated by the people she trusts most," she said.

Even as the "Alias" delves into ancient mystical lore in the subsequent seasons, it will be played by Sydney creator J. J., along with talented supporting players including Victor Gerber and Lena Olin.J.Abrams continued to command major franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek, but he honed his world-building skills in this action-packed, twist-filled series.

A somewhat underrated gem of the pre-MCU Marvel TV era, starring Haley Atwell as "Agent Carter" Peggy Carter, the Secret Agent Agent introduced in the movie "Captain America: The First Avenger."Set in the 1940s, the show follows Peggy's adventures on the fringe of the Marvel universe, investigating dangerous technological threats and uncovering nefarious plots against national security. She takes it all with elegance and humor, giving "Agent Carter" a welcome cheerful tone.

Peggy eventually returned to the big screen, but "Agent Carter" was the victim of a change of priorities in Marvel, which ended just 2 seasons later. Still, these seasons represent some of the best Marvel screen stories since the MCU began, making it easy to enjoy without knowing the wider world of MCU movies.
