This thrilling adventure series has crept up Netflix's top 10 — it's 100% on rotten tomatoes

Netflix has plenty of new TV shows competing in search of the top 10 spots for streamers. This includes a comedy that navigates personal issues at work and a drama that focuses on the downfall of a man as his real estate empire collapses. But the new season of "Bridgerton" remains a winner, because it sits at the top of the top 10. But that doesn't mean there's no competition for high-ranked spots.

Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is the latest adventure series to creep up the Top 10 list. It currently sits at No. We are ahead of 3 spots: "Baby Reindeer" and "Tom Brady's Roast". This new animated "Jurassic World" spin-off has attracted a lot of attention from subscribers and has proven to be a hit with critics as well.

Are you a fan of the "Jurassic Park" franchise and want to see something new? We'll take you through the general plot while revealing what critics are saying.

Set 6 years after the "Camp Cretaceous" event, this new original series focuses on members of the Nublar Six (now five after Jenna Ortega departed from the show). These characters include Darius Bowman (Paul Mikel Williams), Kenji Conn (Darren Burnett), Ben Pincus (Sean Giambrone), Yazmin "Yaz" Fadula (Kausal Mohammed), Sammy Gutierrez (Raini Rodríguez), and many others. The "Chaos theory" explores the world where dinosaurs came to inhabit most of the United States. The main group is struggling to navigate real life after escaping Nublar Island, but needs to put aside the trauma when a global conspiracy arises. It is up to them to prevent the potential extinction of dinosaurs and humanity.

If you have seen "Camp Cretaceous", you can see that there was another member in the group named Brooklynn (Jenna Ortega). But the trailer for "Chaos Theory" revealed that she died in a dinosaur attack. This means that the series will also focus on how to deal with this devastating loss.

It may not be a universal opinion, but both animated "Jurassic World" shows have really boosted the franchise. And this is evident by a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with audiences giving "Chaos Theory" a similar high rating of 95%.

San Jose Mercury News' Randy Myers wrote, "Scott Creamer and Aaron Cresswell are going to be the best." Hammersley achieved something that was missing in later "Jurassic" movies.Jurassic World: Chaos Theory is a perfect continuation of the Camp Cretaceous franchise, telling a more mature story with fascinating characters.

Lady Teddy Cut's Daniel Hart was particularly shocked by how dark and mature this animated series is: "I'm surprised that I'm still talking about these characters, and I feel compelled to a series set for kids," he said.

In terms of audience opinion, one comment highlights how the series "expands the world of Jurassic Park in a mature and dark way" while "breaking some of the film's entries."

"Jurassic World: Chaos Theory" is a great series to watch when you need something fun but slightly darker at the same time. It's technically made for kids, but it still contains mature themes that engage older viewers. Therefore, regardless of age, it is worth looking at the fans of the franchise.
