Days of Play is Back in 2024, check out the PlayStation blog and celebrate all things this year PlayStation is set to get the biggest discounts on peripherals such as the best PS5 games, PS5Slim consoles and PSVR2. 

While I appreciate the good discounts (after all, I'm the original deal editor), the only thing better than getting a must-see game for cheap is a single cent and for the day of play in 2024, Sony is supercharging the PlayStation Plus giveaway with additional perks including Psvr2 games and classic PS2 titles. It's a good idea. 

If you're a PlayStation Plus member at any tier level (Essential, Extra, Premium), you'll get a lot of gaming treatment over the next few weeks. So let's take a look at all the freebies available to subscribers throughout the day of Play2024... 

Sony has confirmed the monthly game for 2024/6, and members of the Essential tier or higher (essentially any tier of PS+ is the base level) will be eligible for SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, Aew Fight Forever, Streets of Rage4 from 6-4 A.M.

Sony will charge subscribers 5 EA Sports FC24, which was part of the lineup for the month. It also makes the pot even sweeter by giving it even longer to make it easier to eat. You now have up to 6/18 to add to your library, and now play some virtual football at Euro 2024 just around the corner

Other perks of the month include a new PlayStation account set of avatars (including those that Liverpool FC fans love) and a new PlayStation account. This includes an exclusive Roblox pack that includes new skins from Felix Freezebeard The Yeti. 

Extra (or Premium) tier PlayStation Plus accounts will get access to a quartet of excellent games over the next 10 days. The first is a fun indie bold dredge on Wednesday (29th), followed soon by Lego Marvel Superheroes on 2/31st.

Then, entering May 6, the game catalog (a term from Sony's PlayStation Plus Extra library) will be further added in the form of Cricket 6/5 on May 24 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas—The Definitive Edition on May 6/7. I imagine GTA will be the most popular new addition. 

Unsurprisingly, Sony has saved the best freebies for gamers who forked out for the highest level membership, PlayStation Plus Premium. 

For starters, premium members who also own PSVR2 headsets are entering a very good 6 months. From 6/6 you will have access to Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Road, Walkabout Mini-golf, Synth Rider, The Walking Dead in front of you and the Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners – Chapters 1 and 2. These are not even small games, some of them deserve to be mentioned in the list of the best PSVR2 games, the Walking Dead games are particularly great

If the above set of additional free games wasn't enough, Sony would have to archive them to give PlayStation Plus Premium members nostalgia. It is also immersed in the atmosphere. From 6/11, the Classic catalog will include a fresh PS2 in the form of Tomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Sly Cooper and Thievius Raccoonus.  

Finally, Premium members will have access to the new "game Trial" for WWE2K24. It's not confirmed how fleshy this free taster of wrestling sims is, but if you want to invest cash in the full game, it needs to be enough to give you an idea. 

If you're a PlayStation Plus member but don't have a PlayStation Plus subscription this month as they will help fill the time during this relatively quiet period for the new PS5 release, Sony will discount your membership by up to 25% during the day of the Play promotional event.
