Apple teases a new direction for the future ipad, and it may be just what its tablet needs

For some time, we have been using the ipad in landscape mode, mainly in the drive to make tablets, especially laptop-like. Apple seems likely to agree, as it suggests that landscape orientation may be the preferred direction for the next iPad.

As shared in Trusted Reviews, Apple designer Molly Anderson hinted at potential, potential and possible changes in an interview with French website Numerama.

The suggested orientation came out of the response Anderson gave Numerama about the placement of the Apple logo on the back of the iPad Pro M4. Currently, the logo is positioned upright when the tablet is in portrait mode.

However, when I turn the device sideways, the logo looks sideways.

"I think this could change, I don't think it's carved into stone," Anderson said. "We are thinking about it. The iPad has long been a product that has been used in portrait mode, but it is increasingly being used in landscape mode. We can not say that it is fixed."

In an interview, scott Brodrick, iPad category manager, tried to soften this statement by saying that the design team is using the iPad vertically when taking FaceTime calls.

It makes sense if Apple isn't moving the ipad Pro M4's webcam from above in portrait orientation. . Instead, the latest generation iPad has repositioned the webcam for use in landscape orientation.

With the new Magic Keyboard, the iPad Pro M4 seems to be a contender to replace your laptop with a tablet. Our tests have revealed that it is not there, mainly because of iPadOS, which hinders productivity. That and a decent MacBook Air is cheaper than the current top-line iPad.

In addition, in a French interview, the designer told Numerama that he thinks of the iPad, the new Apple Pencil, and the Magic Keyboard as a single product. If Apple is heading down a landscape-oriented tablet, it actually focuses on making a device that can reasonably replace a laptop

But that goes against the designer's goal of creating a "magic glass sheet".”
