Mini PC maker GPD introduces GPD Duo, a dual-screen folding laptop

Over the past few years, the Chinese computer company GPD has been creating high-end mini-mobile PCs and handheld gaming devices But they seem to be finally turning their attention to a full-size laptop, with a fun little twist

As discovered by The Verge, GPD has released images of an upcoming folding laptop called the GPD Duo It features 2 133-inch OLED displays

Now the foldable laptop is not new We recently reviewed and loved the Asus Zenbook Duo and consider it one of the best laptops on the market, even with poor battery life and a nasty integration of windows11 And Lenovo's strange hybrid laptop and tablet, Yoga has been present since 2012, with the debut Yoga 7i at the end of last year If it's a bit tricky, it's fine

Like the ZENBOOK Duo, the GPD Duo stacks the 2nd display above the main screen Unlike the Zenbook with a removable keyboard, the GPD device looks like an all-in-one and folds behind the main display when not in use

The second display can be folded so that the duo can use it as a tablet, and it comes with a stylus It's a good idea Fully extended, the laptop measures 18 inches For those who prefer the Microsoft Surface pen, it seems that Duo has the Microsoft Pen protocol, which allows you to use the Surface pen

The GPD does not provide the full specifications of the device, but you can see some ports in the image It seems to have 3 standard USB ports, 2 USB-C ports, SD card reader, HDMI, and Ethernet ports Some of them are just guesses, but that's how it looks  Beyond that, the GPD image claims a 35W TDP and claims it will be an AI PC

It is hard to determine if there is a Microsoft co-pilot button on the keyboard and it indicates whether it is co-pilot + PC or not

GPD devices tend to be expensive Steam Deck/Neo Geo-The esque Win4 starts at 5 985, compared to 5 589 of Valve's best handheld devices The GPD Win Mini ranges fromspec720 to specs1,099 depending on specifications

We assume that GPD Duo will also be expensive Hopefully we'll find more during Computex next week
