Best Solo Build will launch on 3/6/18 at half the cost of AirPods

Get ready to see the new Beats Solo Buds wherever you go this summer — Beats has announced that the new true wireless earbuds will be launched in June18 with launch79.

Not only do they look very affordable at half the price of AirPods3, but Beat Solo buds come in four color options: matte black, Storm Gray, 3 of these colors will be available to all retailers, but Arctic Purple is only available to Apple and Target.

As we reported when it was announced along with the new Beats Solo4 wireless headphones, Beats Solo Buds offers a new small case and outer shell that not only makes it easier to carry and wear for a longer period of time, but also extends the 18-hour battery life between buds and the case.

Buds is compatible with both iOS and Android, allowing for one-touch pairing, automatic preparation between devices, and even Find My or Find My Device, depending on the OS you use.

Once upon a time, the name Beats was synonymous with expensive headphones. Still, Beats Solo Buds is just the latest example of a company lowering prices to keep up with competition from Sony, JBL, and other major players in the audio space. The price difference also helps Apple's subsidiary, Beats, differentiate its products from Apple products like AirPods Pro2 and AirPods3.

That said, solo shoots seem to have made some omissions to hit their hit79 price point. For example, there's no mention of active noise cancelling, and there's no hands-free Siri like the one in the AirPods Pro lineup.

Surprisingly, these support spatial audio via Apple Music. We have to try them out for ourselves to see how they sound, but are you looking to snag a few earbuds for the biggest new Four
