Based on the new job list, Apple seems to be preparing to build an Apple TV+ app for Android smartphones and tablets 

The job list, discovered by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple "millions to discover watching TV and sports to work on the development of fun new features" Apple declined to comment on the list and its meaning

Currently, Apple TV+ is available on Android TV devices such as Chromecast with Google TV and smart TVs running Android However, whether you want the app to work properly or not, it can hit or miss But when the service was launched in 2019, dedicated Android phone and tablet apps were shunned

Outside of Android, Apple TV+ is available on PlayStation Console, Xbox One, Series S, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV sticks

Android has more than 30 billion devices worldwide, and when combined with the 22 billion devices that Apple has in the world, it immediately increases the reach of Apple TV+ by 2 times It's hard to know Apple's business impact because Apple has never declared TV+ subscriber numbers or revenue, but the service has provided many memorable shows and movies like Coda, Severance and Ted Lasso 

The job list is very recent, so it's unclear when the Android Apple TV+ app will actually be available And who knows how much Apple may have already worked on potential Android apps
