We've heard rumors about Macbook with OLED display The latest discovered by MacRumors seems to confirm ongoing rumors that OLED MacBook won't appear until 2026 at the earliest

The latest rumors and speculation come from market research firm Omdia

According to Ricky Park, senior principal analyst for display research at Omdia, "Apple is likely to incorporate OLED into MACBOOK Pro models as early as 2026 The move caused a significant surge in OLED demand in the notebook market, which by 2031 could exceed 6,000 million units"This is not surprising, because Apple has just released the latest iPad Pro2024 with an OLED display This is an upgrade from the MiniLED screen used by previous ipads 

2026 seems to be shaping up to be the year of OLED for Apple Earlier this week it was announced that the iPad Air and iPad Mini will also get OLED panels that year

Samsung reportedly started developing an 8-inch OLED display for the iPad mini The report claims that the Cheonan facility will not start mass production until the second half of 2025 

The recently released 13-inch iPad Air will have an LED display, while the iPad Mini almost three years ago will have an old liquid Retina display

Apple has not officially said anything about any of these reports We've seen rumors claiming everything from next year to 2027 for OLED laptops Display analyst Ross Young said in an interview that there is a supply bottleneck Young also claims that the OLED Macbook will arrive this year  

He was right to say that the OLED iPad will appear this year just like the new iPad Pro 

In 2023/4, we reported rumors that the MacBook Air will receive an OLED display before the MacBook Pro Allegedly, this version of the MacBook Air will be launched sequentially on the iPad Pro But Tony Polanco, a computing expert, doesn't think Apple will release the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro far from each other if they believe the 3-year manufacturing schedule 

For now, the OLED MacBook Pro is just a dream
