We are rapidly approaching the middle of the year, and the release of big video games is not slowing down anytime soon. The summer lineup looks particularly exciting with titles like Star Wars Outlaws on May 8 and Stalker9 on May 2, but that doesn't mean there will be no notable entries in 2024/6 as well. 

This month looks particularly exciting for console owners, with two major online gaming extensions launching. Gamers are looking forward to jumping into these new content packs and offering fresh challenges and immersive experiences. In addition, Nintendo Switch is set to receive some mandatory play titles that you don't want to miss.

A new chapter in the Elder Scrolls Online saga will soon be here. The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road focuses on the return of a Daedric prince named Iteria. In this story you have to band with your allies to learn more about the Prince's scheme and followers. Protecting the inhabitants of Tamriel will be your highest mission, as a long-forgotten item threatens to cause confusion in her wake.

Gold Road actually continues the thread left behind in the Necrom chapter released last year. However, you can enjoy this story even if you have never played a previous adventure in space. This time you will have the opportunity to try out the writing system, which is a new feature that allows you to collect and upgrade unique skills. These skills are called Grimoire and encourage players to adjust the play style of the character's primary and secondary.

The world of Destiny continues to grow, and the latest massive expansion of the shooter will further expand the sci-fi universe. Taking place after the event of Lightfall, Destiny2: The Final Shape focuses on your journey to find a witness who is a very powerful presence who has escaped through the portal among travelers Now it's up to you to finally put an end to this evil entity, but first, you go deep into the minds of travelers and end the war between light and darkness

This campaign is the main focus of the expansion because it follows a more linear narrative. Your reality begins to change the more you make the journey to a pale heart, because witnesses like to contaminate and manipulate everything in its path. You will also face off against a new type of enemy called Subjugators, and they will use the Stasis/Strand power. You can also expect loads of new loot to add to your collection.

Put your fighting skills to the test in Star Wars: Hunter, a new thrilling third-person battle on Nintendo Switch Located on the Planet of Vespaara, you join other hunters in the arena and set in the iconic Star Wars universe. You will explore the fascinating battlefields that have been created in the past. You can set up your dream team, plan your skills, and cast your character to become a winner in competitive areas

Star Wars: The Hunter is actually free to play and can be downloaded as soon as it is released on 6/4. But there's a bounty-packed version of bounty15 that gives you access to the main game, Imara Vex's plum bounty hunter costume, her plum rifle weapon wrap, bounty puck stickers, your champion victory pose and 500 crystals for in-game spending.

Elden Ring: The long-awaited expansion for Elden Ring. The game follows the story of Malenia's twin brother, Elyos Michela, who is venturing into the Shadow kingdom. This is a place hidden by the Eld Tree, a huge golden tree that lies on the land between. Your adventure will explore new lands and dark secrets as you follow in the footsteps of Miquella. But get ready to immerse yourself in dangerous dungeons that hold some of the most menacing enemies. 

This fascinating story also tells us more about Queen Marica and what she did in the Shadow Country. There are several editions available for purchase, including Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's editions. When you purchase the Deluxe bundle, you'll get an Elden Ring-based game, new DLC, digital art book and original soundtrack.

The next remaster of the Nintendo 3DS game Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is almost over us. Luigi's Mansion 2HD follows the same premise, but includes visually improved graphics that improve the experience with the switch. In this game you have to get the missing shards of the dark moon (powerful objects that keep the ghosts in a peaceful state) across many haunted houses. Each mansion holds a variety of puzzles that you have to solve, along with despicable ghosts that you will capture in your Poltergust5000.
