hi chain. If you are not interested in fermented foods, this is a tricky puzzle. In fact, if it wasn't for me spotting kombucha quickly spelled along the top, I could have been left struggling.

That instant gift immediately set me up in spangram. Fermentation begins in the middle of the left board, and all the snakes up near the upper right corner.

Even though I knew what the theme was and what kind of stuff I was looking for, this was still a bit of a struggle. 

Yoghurt was a fairly straightforward one, as the spangram encoded the first four letters. And that led me to get sauerkraut and miso to complete the lower half. 

It left just 2 answers to find at the top of the board. Fortunately, I discovered kimchi with kefir exposed relatively early - not entirely sure I would have it otherwise.
