Motorola Razr2024 specifications have a new image chip — what we know

At the beginning of last week, the full technical specifications of the Motorola Razr+2024 were leaked with the x, showing a device that was more appropriately upgraded than the 2023 model. However, there was only 1 potential phone image next to several rulers that were very similar to last year's model.

Leaks from 91mobiles and leak-maven Evan Blass (via Endgadget) gave me the first look at what Motorola Razr+2024 and the more budget-friendly Razr2024 would look like.

The 91mobiles image confirms an earlier leak that claims the Razr+ comes in midnight blue, spring green and hot pink. It also seems to have 45w charging support.

Entry-level Razr seems to be appearing in orange, gilded colors and black.

If you look at the image, you will see the Razr50 and Razr50ULTRA on the device's display. Just in case, outside the U.S., the Razr lineup is sold as the Razr and Razr Ultra. Last year's models were the Razr40 and Razr40Ultra, so it makes sense for this year's model to call it the Razr50. In the US, Motorola is releasing the phones as Razr and Razr+.

Before, there was no information about the new Razr specification, but now there are a few, and it seems that there are some solid upgrades going on.

The main display holds a 6.9-inch polled screen. However, the size of the appearance has doubled from the 2023 model 1.5 inches to 3.6 inches. It also works with the MediaTek Dimensity7300X processor, moving away from last year's phone Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7gen1. This may be a way to keep costs down, especially since the Razr+ is supposed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen3.

Take this particular leak with a grain of salt. Currently, MediaTek offers a 7200 processor, which is comparable to Qualcomm Snapdragon 7gen2. There was no news or leak of 7300 chips. MediaTek announced the 5+ 9300 premium chip line in early May.

Upgrades from flagship chips tend to filter to 8000 lines and 7000 lines. The 9300 line looks like it was built exclusively for AI, as many mobile phones and computing companies push their way into that lane.

Oddly, the camera seems to be downgraded. Last year's model featured a 64MP main camera and a 32MP ultra wide angle. According to these leaks, the 2024 version will have a 50MP main camera.

Everything else looks relatively the same, including a 4,200mAh battery. There is no word on the RAM or storage capacity contained.

Motorola will reportedly release a new Razr phone in May, but we have to wait and see because the company was quiet about the next generation
