Netflix Top 10 Movies — Here are 3 Movies Worth Watching Right Now

Netflix's Top 10 has been pretty static in recent weeks, with the same handful of flicks taking the top spot for a few days. But that eventually changed because new movies are making their way to this constantly rotating ranking of movies that are getting the most attention from subscribers.

The most watched list on Netflix is a great place to start when you're looking for something to watch on a streaming service. However, it does not guarantee its quality. In fact, the really terrible comic book movie "Madame Web" is now Netflix's no.1 As someone who is in a movie and suffered through it in theaters, I strongly recommend skipping it.

To help you find the gems, I'm picking the Netflix top 10 movies that deserve your viewing time. The list includes twisted mystery thrillers, AI-focused action films and family features that are awash with numbers of colors and music. Here's something for everyone.

This article is based on the Netflix Top 5 as of Wednesday 22 2:45 a.m. ET as of 6:10 p.m. Also, if you need more top movies that can be streamed now, check out the list of 9 new movies to be delivered this week, including "Dune Part Two" and "Atlas"

A twisted crime thriller with comedy elements, "Simple Favors" Anna Kendrick is Stephanie, a widow who runs crafts and Cooking vlog. She plays a single mother. When she befriends the charming mother of her son's classmate, Emily (Blake Lively), the two instantly connect despite their differences. But when Emily mysteriously disappears without a trace, it's up to Stephanie to investigate. Along the way, she learns amazing secrets and discovers that Emily's perfect lifestyle isn't as perfect as it looks.

Paul Feig's "A Simple Favor" is a seriously enjoyable film. It offers compelling mysteries and uncomplicated thrills at its core. Kendrick and Lively's performance is also excellent, and anyone with an eye to fashion can wear the outfit. If you're looking for a thriller that swaps the spreading darkness for a more vivid color palette, "simple favors" is a great option. Plus, now it's time to see the sequel coming.

Made in the same mold as Illumination's "Sing" franchise, "Thelma the Unicorn" is an animated comedy with a musical twist based on the children's book series by Aaron Braby. It's a perfect choice if you need a movie that keeps little kids entertained, but with a toe-tapping soundtrack, even a slightly older viewer sings along

Netflix's original film centers around the namesake Thelma, a pony with a wild dream of becoming a famous singer. After blowing a big audition, the mare gets her shot at fame when she is mistaken for a unicorn covered in glitter and soon rises to world stardom. But her new "Unicorn Thelma" of fame, fortune and flashy lights includes the voice talent of Brittany Howard, Will Forte, Fred Armisen and Zach Galifianakis, as the Pony begins to realize that hiding your true self is not so easy after all. It's a great place to start.
