Marvel confirms its best Disney Plus show sequel— but there's one big flaw

I'm not the first to admit that Marvel has been going downhill since "Avengers: Endgame," and that such an incredible franchise has done so, but the decline of the MCU feels somewhat inevitable and has been a huge success, raising viewer expectations. But my expectations aren't that high for Disney Plus's recently announced "Vision" series.

Deadline reports that Disney Plus is reviving Vision (again) for his own series, which will be released on the streaming service in 2026. Paul Bettany returns as White Vision, a replica of the original synthesizer. S.W.O.R.D created this emotional and memory-erasing version to destroy Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), but after the event of "WandaVision" he managed to fly away and has since seen

Some Marvel fans are somewhat interested in the adventures of White Vision after the hit show "Wonder Vision." It is unlikely that it has been thought repeatedly for the past 3 years. Instead, attention is focused on exciting projects like "The Fantastic Four", "Deadpool & Wolverine" and "Thunderbolts." However, this "Vision" series makes sense to further establish the character in the MCU, especially if it is planned to appear in the next phase 6 of the franchise.

Currently, the show has no name, but what we know is that "Star Trek: Picard" executive producer Terry Mataras will be the showrunner, and in 2022 there will be a story of a "Vision" show named "Vision: Quest" and Jac Schaeffer will release the series. It is said that he was in the middle of the night. Since Schaefer was more involved in the "Agatha All Along" spin-off, it now seems to be moving in a different direction.

Of course, it's exciting to have another live-action series related to Marvel's greatest show of all time ("WandaVision"), but there are potential problems. And this big flaw can stop me from watching the series.

It is likely that the character of the beloved Scarlet witch will not return to the "Vision" series. That's because it was the last time I saw Wanda die in "Dr. Strange in a crazy Multiverse," and since then, there's been no word that she's back on the MCU.

But even if Marvel had obscured her future, it would not be surprising. Kevin Feige teased the return of Olsen's character when talking to Variety in 2022-9: "What I think Wanda is headed for is hopefully toward some sort of redemption, I don't think any of these characters are ever really gone, especially when you're looking at all of our bodies in different other universes." Multiplying the multiverse

There is hope that she may appear in "Vision", but it makes more sense for her character to appear in "Agatha All Along." Regardless of her plans, given that it's been a long time since we last saw White Vision, I'm not promoting that much about this next "Vision" series. That's not to say I don't see it, it can be very successful if done correctly.

For now, all we know is that "Vision" will be released sometime in 2026. It focuses on his journey to find a white vision and purpose, especially the new memories he has gained since "Wonder Vision." Once more details are revealed about the show, we can determine if it makes sense for Wanda to come back as well.

If you haven't seen "Wonder Vision" yet, or are fantasizing about another re-viewing, you can stream it on Disney Plus. There is also a lot of news about "Daredevil: Born Again" and the upcoming "Ironheart" series.
