4 chat ladies are coming. OpenAI revealed the latest model at the spring update event on the 13th. No longer do you have to type a query into that AI or wait long for it to respond to your spoken interactions. Instead, you can talk to it with a degree of emotion, speed and lifelike interaction that we have never seen before from ChatGPT. 

During the event, the host asked the AI to tell stories of varying degrees of emotion, show the mathematical equations of ChatGPT, ask for hints without giving answers, and they asked ChatGPT to sing the conclusion of the story, and the assistant sang it amazingly humanly.

The programming and math capabilities come from what OpenAI calls Vision. Basically, ChatGPT can "see" through your phone's camera and can help with visual problems. In a way, it's like Google Lens has enhanced the functionality to the fullest. 

ChatGPT also seemed to get emotional when the host was told to love it, which was both cool and creepy. 

The response is even faster. "We used GPT-4o to train a single new model, end-to-end, across text, vision, and audio," OpenAI said.This means that all inputs and outputs are processed by the same neural network."Gpt-4o delivers GPT-4 turbo-level performance in text, inference, and coding intelligence, and sets new high watermarks for multilingual, audio, and vision capabilities."Perhaps the biggest news about GPT-4o came from OpenAI CTO Mira Murati, who announced that free users will have access to GPT-4o. This applies to vision features, voice features and all the other good things the company is adding in its latest models. Of course, paid users get 5x more prompts with new technologies as much as free ones, but the company is the latest and best lock behind Paywall

The company is also releasing a macOS desktop app for ChatGPT, allowing users to interact with AI without opening a web browser on those devices. It allows you to interact with them.
