Shonda Rhimes detailed how the woman revealed that Whistle-down sped up the "Bridgerton" timeline.

Devoted "Bridgerton" fans have come to know from the series of novels written by Julia Quinn, whose Season 3 is the base of the popular Netflix drama "Bridgerton" Season 3, which will soon appear, jumps over the story of Benedict Bridgerton and instead uses Penelope Ferrer as the lead character. Zarrington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) shake the order of the book by focusing on the relationship between friends and lovers."

And the reason for that change was not only because of the fan buzz surrounding the long-awaited Polyn romance, but also because of the story centered around Lady Whistle Down, the mysterious figure behind the social pamphlet detailing Ton's gossip. That writer, of course, turned out to be Penelope Featherington herself in the season 1 finale. The character revealed that executive producer Shonda Rhimes urged the power to track Penn's story early.

"If we were going to reveal that Penelope is Lady Whistle Down at the end of Season 1, it was very clear that we really had only one season where it could work as the secret she had — and we'd watch Eloise discover it." "It's been a long time since I was a kid," Rhimes said in an interview with Variety. The producer refers to a dramatic moment when Penelope's BFF and Colin's sister, Eloise Bridgerton, discover the betrayal of her closest best friend in the second season finale.

Fellow "Bridgerton" executive producer Betsy Beers told the outlet that Penelope and Eloise's connection is also attractive to the team next season: "Obviously, all the characters are great, but I've loved (Penelope's) that character. And I have always entered into a relationship between Penelope and Eloise. There are a lot of layers in this season with characters I think you haven't really gotten to delve into before."

But if Rhimes had her way, they would quickly track down all of the "Bridgerton" stories - the producers had previously said she was "committed" to adapting every eight editions of the "Bridgerton" book and allowing each Bridgerton brother to have his own moments in the spotlight. Although she has announced that she is expecting a baby, she doesn't want things to move more quickly in places where filming is a concern. "It takes too long and it's frustrating for me," Rhimes told Variety. "For me, we should be able to write and produce shows at the same time, but that's not always possible at the moment. It should be, but it is not.

But she's already rolling the ball in future installments for the show. (Netflix has already officially picked up "Bridgerton" Season 4."I have very specific plans for where to go in each season. "You really have to start sowing seeds to other siblings, so what's going on with them, to push them into the next season. We really talked about it, I think, Season 6 or maybe 7.

In the meantime, the first 3 episodes of Season 4 of "Bridgerton" will be dropped on Netflix on 5/16 and another 6/13 will be followed by 4 more. And Tom's guide will keep you posted on all future editions of the series.
