I have to admit I had never heard of "American Fiction" before I compiled this piece, but I'm glad to stumble upon it. This is a racially charged film about a frustrated novelist who is fed up with the establishment profiting from "negro" entertainment. Jeffrey Wright, Tracee Ellis Ross, Issa Rae, Sterling K.Brown is in the cast, and these are all names that will make some waves in the near future. If you're looking for a drama-filled movie to watch this weekend, look no further.
