Steven Knight seems to be the busiest man on television, and as soon as his new BBC show "This Town" hits screens, the screenwriter's new spy thriller "The Veil" is on Hulu. Episodes begin Tuesday, April 30. [Elisabeth Moss plays Imogen Solter, a chameleon like MI6 agent tasked with getting close to suspected ISIS commander Adilah El Idrissi (Yumna Marwan). [Adira holds information that could save (or destroy) thousands of lives, and in an epic world trip that takes the two from Syria to Paris, the two women treat secrets as currency and enter into a fragile alliance, and possibly a burgeoning friendship. Meanwhile, the CIA and the Department of National Security (DGSE) fight for control of the situation and begin their own spy game as the threat from the outside grows.

Other cast members include Dari Bensaler as Imogen's DGSE contact Malik, Josh Charles as his CIA counterpart Max, and James Purefoy of "The Following" as Sir Michael Althorpe. Meanwhile, director Damon Thomas, who has directed multiple episodes of "Killing Eve," is no stranger to taught, female-led, double-crossing espionage.

Director Steven Knight's latest film looks to be an absolute nail-biter.

In the US, "The Veil" will air exclusively on Hulu, with the first two episodes available on April 30, followed by new episodes every Tuesday.

U.S. viewers abroad can use a VPN to stream "The Veil" just as they would in their home country.

"The Veil" can be streamed on Disney Plus in Canada, Australia, and many other territories with the exact same release pattern as in the US.

An official UK release date has not yet been confirmed, but the UK Disney Plus site already has a page for "The Veil," so don't be surprised if it is released on April 30.

Disney Plus starts at £7.99 per month or £79.90 per year in the UK, $7.99 CAD per month in Canada, and $13.99 AUD per month or $139.99 AUD per year in Australia.
