One of the best streaming services has finally added season 6 of the historical romance time travel series to its platform. For those of you unfamiliar with the series, here's a quick rundown. Outlander is a historical drama about Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a former British nurse who served in World War II. She is currently honeymooning in Scotland with her husband Frank (Tobias Menzies), but that happiness soon comes to an end when she is mysteriously transported to another century. In this century she meets another man named Jamie (Sam Heughan) and the two pursue a passionate relationship. Claire must adjust to having two very different relationships, but of course there are consequences.

I won't go into too much detail about the main plot of Season 6 because I don't want to spoil it. However, this season continues Claire's journey in the century to which she was sent, and she is charged with a mission determined to protect those she loves in a ruthless world.

"Outlander" is based on the novel of the same name by Diana Gabaldon. It is currently in its seventh season and an eighth season is in production, but no release date has been set.

It has an overall rating of 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a high viewer rating of 87%. This is mainly due to season 7's staggering score of 100%, but the series has been consistent throughout in terms of story, character development, and world-building.
