Julia Lester and Antonia Gentry star as teenage best friends determined to have the perfect graduation prom, despite being without their dates 24 hours before the dance competition.

No doubt there are plenty of ridiculous obstacles to overcome in order to have the prom of your dreams. As one might expect from past "American High" films, both the silliness and the lessons learned will be portrayed in a charming and sincere manner.

It's easy to forget that Twitter was once a positive force for connection and change, as it has transformed into the hellhole that is the Elon Musk-owned X. This three-part documentary series looks back at a particularly vibrant niche of the once thriving social network. Based on an article by Jason Parham for Wired magazine, "Black Twitter" portrays the community of black creators and activists who came to prominence through their presence on Twitter.

Directed by Prentice Penny, showrunner of Insecure, Black Twitter features interviews with key figures both online and off, including W. Kamau Bell, Roxane Gay, and Gemile Hill. It captures a fleeting but essential moment when a major cultural force emerged from a group of marginalized voices given an unfiltered platform.
