KitchenAid introduces its new Espresso Collection.

When you hear the name KitchenAid, you immediately think of the brand's iconic stand mixer, with its bold colors and sturdy design. But KitchenAid is known for much more than its classic kitchen appliances, selling everything from large refrigerators and ranges to smaller countertop appliances like toasters and some of the best coffee makers.

KitchenAid's newest espresso collection is designed for coffee lovers who want a sleek home coffee station that lets them choose their favorite beverage at the push of a button. The new series consists of three fully automatic espresso machines and one semi-automatic machine, with prices starting at $699. [Whether you want to brew espresso like a barista or create a barista-style coffee bar in your kitchen, KitchenAid's new espresso machines could make it possible.

KitchenAid's semi-automatic machine, the KES6551, offers users a more hands-on approach. Before the machine extracts the shot, the powder must be placed in a portafilter and tamped. In addition, milk should be manually steamed and frothed using the steam wand on the side of the device before it is added to the cup.

For ease of use, the machine also features an integrated burr grinder so you can grind and go. You can also choose between smart dosing and manual dosing. Smart dosing technology allows you to create the ideal amount of concentration for one or two espresso shots. At the same time, the manual function allows you to select the exact amount of grind you need. If you want to become a barista, the KitchenAid KES6551 is available for purchase ($699, KitchenAid).

The three fully automatic espresso machines eliminate most of the manual steps required when operating the above machines, but do not remove them, giving personalized options: the KF6 has 15 recipes to choose from, the KF7 has 20, and the KF8 has over 40 are available.

The machines also allow you to choose and personalize your favorite drinks on an easy-to-use touch screen. And unlike semi-automatic models, milk is automatically heated and frothed, so there is no need to worry about the amount of milk needed. It also has a removable bean hopper for easy bean replacement and refilling. As an additional feature, the KF8 model has a plant-based milk mode that allows users to add almonds, oats, or soybeans to their drinks. There is also a bypass chute for freshly ground coffee.

All four espresso machines are easy to clean and come with "Clean Me" notifications. And with KitchenAid, you can rest assured that these metal-clad appliances are built to last.

Sssshhh! If quiet coffee is your thing, the Espresso Collection is Quiet Mark certified.
