Dear Readers, The trailer for Season 3 of "Bridgerton" is finally here.

After weeks of teasing sneak peek clips, "Bridgeman" fans are finally getting their first good look at the upcoming third season of the Netflix hit.

"We've been apart for far too long," says Lady Whistledown (voiced by the legendary Julie Andrews) in a new clip released by the streaming giant on Thursday, April 11. 'Finally, the fashionable Londoners are back. So is this author.

Spoiler alert, of course! - Lady Whistledown is Penelope Fetherington (played by Nicola Coughlan), and Fetherington's youngest daughter has problems at home and with her friends (former companion Eloise Bridgerton is getting along with Cressida Cowper after her betrayal in season 2), and romance The film depicts her pursuit of romance. She wants a husband, and no one can help her find one better than her old friend Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Watch the 2:30-minute trailer below:

In addition to Penelope's obvious passionate bond with Colin, the season trailer also shows a selection of other suitors, including Lord Debring (Sam Phillips)." Mother, do you think the best basis for love is friendship?" Colin asks his mother, Lady Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell). She replies: "It is rare, but you have to follow your heart."

.

But readers of the book series written by Julia Quinn, on which "Bridgerton" is based, already know that the slow fire between Penelope and Colin will eventually grow into a fiery romance. And we can expect that passion to play out on the screen. Fans have already seen clips of the steamy mirror scene from the books, and Coughlan recently teased a furniture-breaking moment between the two couples in two new episodes (the first four episodes will be released on Thursday, May 16, and the final four on Thursday, June 13). Each season of "Bridgerton" focuses on a different couple from Quinn's novels. The first follows the romance between Bridgerton's eldest daughter Daphne (Phoebe Dinever) and Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings (Leger-Jean Page), while the second follows Colin's brother Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his new bride, Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), and follows their relationship. Although we don't see Daphne in the new episodes, the trailer for Season 3 had a curious glimpse into what Kate and Anthony's marriage is like.

However, the third season switches the order of the novels, skipping the third series focusing on Benedict Bridgerton and going into the coupling of Penelope and Colin in the fourth "Bridgerton" film, Romancing Mister Bridgerton.

While we wait to see what happens between Colin and Penelope (affectionately known as Polin by "Bridgeman" fans), we can revisit the show's first two seasons via Netflix subscription. And as always, Tom's Guide will bring you the latest "Bridgerton"-related news.
