Honestly, this is a completely selfish choice. Because I watched a frankly unhealthy amount of Adult Swim in high school and college. Metal Caliphs was one of my favorite shows of all of them.

Deathrock, the world's biggest band, is on an extended hiatus that is wreaking havoc on the world's political and economic systems. Naturally, only a face-melting new metal album can stimulate the planet out of financial depression, but when the band finally decides to go on tour again, everything quickly goes to hell. The legendary Metal Caliphate has arrived, and Deathrock must craft a "salvation song" that rocks hard enough to ward off the evil forces that seek to destroy the planet. That is, if the band members can keep their egos, insecurities, and stupidity in check enough to keep from ruining the world. It would be asking too much of these idiots.
