One of the best horror films of the past five years, "Talk to Me" arrives this week on Paramount Plus (with Showtime). In this film, a group of friends participate in a ritual in which they use embalmed hands to summon spirits. At first, the group experiences the sickening thrill of having otherworldly spirits temporarily possess their bodies, but when one of the group goes too far and welcomes something more sinister into the world, the line between the living and the dead begins to blur and the situation spirals into a nightmare.

Just two weeks after its theatrical release, "The Witchcraft Negro Society of America" is now available to enjoy at home. Starring Justice Smith and David Alan Greer, this fantasy film focuses on a secret society of magical blacks who dedicate their lives to making life easier for white people. Initially, Allen (Smith) is excited about his newfound magical powers, but as the flaws in the system become apparent, he begins to become disillusioned with the society's mission. While "The Magical Negro Society of America" was a disappointment at the box office, hopefully its arrival on the streaming circuit will bring it to a wider audience.

Last year, Disney celebrated its 100th anniversary, and the company celebrated this milestone with the musical film Wishes, which blends traditional animation with modern technology to create a unique visual style. Featuring the voices of Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, and Alan Tudyk, "Wishes" takes place in the Kingdom of Rosas. This paradise island is ruled by King Magnifico (Pine), who grants wishes. However, a young girl named Asha (DeVos) discovers that the king is not as benevolent as he appears and entrusts her wish to the forces of the universe. The film is not a Disney film because it wouldn't be a Disney film without a talking animal that transforms into a stuffed animal.

In 2019, BBC journalist Emily Maitlis interviewed Prince Andrew, son of the late Queen Elizabeth II, about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. To call it a "car crash interview" would be an understatement. The interview fast-forwarded through Prince Andrew's retirement from active royalty, accusations of sexual assault against a minor, and eventual multimillion-pound out-of-court settlement. This Netflix drama chronicles the circumstances surrounding the interview and how he negotiated with his famous guardian, Buckingham Palace. Gillian Anderson plays Maitlis and Rufus Sewell plays Prince Andrew. Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes, and Conor Swindells also star.

Winner of the 2024 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and Best Sound, "Zone of Interest" is a searing examination of man's capacity for cruelty and how evil behavior can become normalized under the right conditions. Written and directed by Jonathan Glaser, this historical drama focuses on the lives of Auschwitz commander Rudolf Hess (Christian Friedel) and his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller), who raised their young family in the shadow of the concentration camp. Their young children live idyllic lives, unaware of the unspeakable violence being perpetrated against innocent people behind the walls. Tough but full of life, "Zone of Interest" is unsettling and powerful throughout.

Available on Max on April 5

An unflinching look at teenage angst and social pressures, "How to Have Sex," directed by Molly Manning Walker, is an uncomfortably relatable look at growing up and first experiences. The drama follows three British teenagers on a sun-soaked vacation filled with drinking, clubbing, and bad decisions. The raw script and Manning Walker's smart direction are appealing, but the biggest selling point is the star power of Mia McKenna-Bruce, who plays the group's youngest tier.
