Veronica Glen, the protagonist played by Alexandra Rapaport, is about to join their ranks. Episode 1 "River Boy Veronica suffers from nightmares and a secret drug addiction. After a family picnic, she begins to see visions of a dead boy, but refuses to believe them. But as more and more people appear in her visions, Veronica begins to question her sanity.

Episode 2 "The Girl in the Forest When Veronica discovers a dead body buried in the woods, she is drawn into the investigation of the case and finds herself working with a new investigator, Nasir Hakim.

Episode 3 "The Man in the Dream Veronica learns that the body found in the woods is the local girl she saw in her vision. She begins to find answers in her past and discovers that her father's death has some connection to the nightmare.
