I built my dream WFH desk for productivity and gaming.

If you're like me and only have a small space to work with, you have to make smart choices when setting up your multifunctional desk so that it doesn't feel cramped or cluttered.

Whether you're looking for inspiration or just want to upgrade your own desk, you can see all the items I used for my ultimate desk space in this YouTube video.

The heart of my desk setup is the desk itself. My Heonam electric standing desk is 55 x 30 inches and is one of the largest electric options you can buy for under $200. This desk can comfortably hold a 49" ultrawide monitor and everything else.

For a monitor, I use a Samsung 49" Odyssey G9. If I had to name one thing that is most important in my setup, it would be this monitor. It's a multitasking beast, and with support for 240Hz with NVIDIA G-SYNC and FreeSync, it's great for gaming as well.

In effect, you can have two 27" monitors side by side, so you can have two full windows open at the same time, research on the right, scripts on the left, Mac on one side, a second input on the other, or a huge video editing timeline that spans the entire screen It is possible to do this. If you can find an open box product under $900 like I did, it's an absolute steal.

My MacBook Pro 14" M1 Max is connected to the monitor via a Plugable TBT4-UDX1 dock, which can drive two 4K 60Hz monitors or one 8K 3Hz monitor. The dock has the perfect number of ports for all my devices and also has an SD card reader on the front.

Peripherals also play a big role in the aesthetics of my setup. I have what I would call Razer's trifecta: the Deathstalker V2 Pro is a beautiful thin mechanical keyboard and the Basilisk V3 Pro is one of the most ergonomic mice I have tested.

I recently added the Strider Chroma, a very overkill mouse pad, and as with all of Razer's products, the more compatible products you can sync, the more immersive the experience. But as with everything else from Razer, the more compatible products you sync together, the more immersive the experience. another great thing about using Razer is that they also offer huge support for third-party hardware, like my Yeelight Cube

I have been using Razer for a few years now.

Aside from the monitors, the audio interface is probably the second most important part of my setup. At its core is the Rodecaster Duo, which supports not only big XLR mics like the Rode PodMic, but also USB-C input, and now wireless connectivity using Wireless GO IIs and Pros. So no matter what kind of microphone you use, you can easily start making high-quality recordings with the click of a button.

It makes such a difference to have one desk where you can work and play without compromise. To learn more about how we did this setup and the products we used, check out our YouTube video.
