How to watch tonight's Emmy Awards 2023 online - streaming date, time, etc.

The biggest night in television has arrived. The Emmy Awards, whose September broadcast was postponed due to the writers' and actors' strike, will return tonight (Monday, January 15). Held one week after the Golden Globes, the annual primetime telecast showcasing the best in television is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, and the 2023 Emmys will be broadcast on FOX, with Anthony Anderson of "Black-ish" fame hosting at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater and will be hosted at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.

As in previous years, the 2023 Emmy nominees include some of the best TV shows, including "Ted Rathbos," "Abbott Elementary," "Yellowjackets," "Barry" and "The White Lotus. Succession is again in the lead with a whopping 27 nominations, while The Last of Us is close behind with 24 nominations. [Three HBO series are nominated, "Succession," "The Last of Us," and "The White Lotus," while "House of the Dragon," while buzzworthy for its association with "Game of Thrones," is a much lower rated HBO series. Half of the shows nominated for Austanding Drama are from HBO/Max, and no matter who wins the top prize, HBO/Max is sure to be the winner this year.

At last weekend's Creative Arts Emmy Awards, "The Last of Us" swept eight awards, including Best Guest Actor and Best Guest Actress in Drama for Nick Offerman and Storm Reid's impressive one-episode performances, respectively. Meanwhile, FX's "The Bear," Netflix's "Wednesday," and HBO's "The White Lotus" each won four awards.

Competition was fierce in the comedy category as well, with fan favorites such as "Ted Russo," "Barry," and "Abbott Elementary" in fierce contention for this year's Outstanding Comedy trophy.

Everything you need to watch Emmy 2023 online is here - including red carpet pre-show content and broadcast locations.

Just because Fox isn't available everywhere doesn't mean you can't watch the 2023 Emmy Awards away from home. With the right VPN (Virtual Private Network), it is very easy to watch the awards ceremony along with the rest of the Internet. You can stream the show wherever you are.

We have reviewed many VPN services and our top recommendation is ExpressVPN. It meets the VPN needs of most users, offering excellent compatibility with most devices and great connection speeds. It is also reasonably priced at $12.95/month. (Signing up for a longer term, such as 6 months or a year, brings the cost down even further.)

In the U.S., you can watch the 2023 Emmy Awards tonight, Monday, January 15, at 8 pm ET/5 pm ET on Fox. The awards ceremony will also be available on Hulu beginning January 16.

The red carpet countdown before the ceremony will air on E. at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. ET.

Fox is a local broadcast network accessible on one of the best TV antennas; E. is available only on cable TV.

If you've already cut the cord, you can watch Fox and E. on live TV services like Sling (in some markets), FuboTV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, and DirecTV Stream. Of these options, we recommend Sling and FuboTV as the best alternatives to cable TV.

In the UK, a delay broadcast of the 2023 Emmy Awards will air on Sky Max and Sky Showcase on Tuesday, January 16 at 9 p.m. ET, with Sky TV packages starting at £26 per month.

Unfortunately, there are no UK channels that broadcast the Emmys live. Americans abroad who want to take advantage of a service they already pay for should check ExpressVPN.

Canadians can watch the 2023 Emmys live at the same time as Americans. The broadcasts are available on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV mobile app.

Like last year, the Primetime Emmy Awards will be streamed live on BINGE. The live stream will begin at 10 a.m. AEDT and will be available on demand after the event.
