He assumes the role of Superman to protect mankind and fight humanity's greatest enemy, General Zod.

What sets this particular film apart from other Superman films is its rich backstory and deep character development. The screenwriters have given Superman great personal responsibility and incredible anguish about his identity. If you are familiar with this famous hero played by Christopher Reeves, you know that this film is neither a replication nor an attempt to recreate that performance. It is a one-of-a-kind film that starts a must-see franchise.

If you've ever imagined teaming up with your younger or older self to fight the forces of darkness, you'll love "The Adam Project." Ryan Reynolds plays Adam Reed, a time-traveling fighter pilot who risks everything to return to 2022, where his 12-year-old younger self (Walker Scovell) is still reeling from the loss of his father, which is one reason the older Adam has returned. From there, the two partner up to travel further into the past and save the world.

If you want to break away from the traditional superhero movie, this is a fun movie." You'll love that it's heavily inspired by many 80s movies, including "Back to the Future" and "Flight of the Navigator. Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, and Zoe Saldaña make brief but fun appearances throughout the film.

The famous female superhero has been played by numerous actresses, but this is the first time this character has been in the spotlight on her own. The main character, played by Gal Gadot, leaves the protection of her home on the paradise island of Themyscira to join the fight in World War I, which she believes was started by the god Ares to destroy humanity.

Patty Jenkins, best known for writing and directing the breakout film Monster, directed this film in the DC Extended Universe series. The film is visually stunning, which further enriches Wonder Woman's backstory and the story as a whole. In addition, the film's romance feels realistic without being overdone and blends well with the humor sprinkled throughout. If you enjoyed Woman's appearance in "Batman vs. Superman: Rise of Justice" and grew up loving the series, I recommend watching this film.

It's hard to imagine a world where superpowers don't give you a unique advantage over others, but the film "Code 8" does. Connor Reed, played by Robbie Amell, lives in poverty and struggles to raise money for his mother's medical bills. To do so, he joins a syndicate called the Trust. The Trust is a syndicate created as a result of the government's attempts to register and suppress those with what it calls "power." "

The film is an unusual blend of a sci-fi flick and a heist movie, with a certain X-Men feel to it, with people being ostracized for their unusual superhero-like qualities. There are many acting performances, including Greg Burke as the villain Marcus Sutcliffe, Stephen Amell as Marcus' subordinate Garrett Kelton, and Sung Kang as Officer Park.

Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, aka Batman. The Dark Knight has already established himself as a crime-fighting hero of the night. When a number of politicians are murdered, Batman joins the investigation, interprets the messages left by the killers, and eventually confronts the biggest threat of all, the Riddler, played by Paul Dano.

It is exciting to see Dano play such a unique and terrifying villain. Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, who teams up with Batman, also makes an appearance. While not as sexy as Michelle Pfeiffer's version of Catwoman, it is still an exciting character. Matt Reeves wrote and directed the film. Given that he rebooted the "Planet of the Apes" franchise, it is no wonder that this version of "Batman" did so well.
