Jacqueline Novak: Take a Knee - Netflix Comedy Comedian Jacqueline Novak's hit stand-up show "Get On Your Knees," about fellatio, will be available on Netflix. A word-of-mouth sensation off-Broadway and directed for the stage by John Early, the show was first presented in 2019, where audiences repeatedly saw multiple sold-out performances. A Time Magazine Critics' Pick, the show was nominated for a Drama Desk nomination in Jacqueline's Outstanding Solo Performance category. Over the past few years, Novak has toured nationally and internationally, with a sold-out run at Largo Los Angeles. This year, Novak teamed up with director Natasha Lyonne and cinematographer Sam Levy ("Lothaniel," "Lady Bird") to shoot the show's final performance at New York's historic Town Hall in a special blend of concert film and comedy. Ostensibly a 90-minute stand-up set about fellatio, GET ON YOUR KNEES is a lurid, poignant, unexpectedly philosophical, triumphant coming-of-age story that pushes the limits of stand-up.
