9 New Shows to Watch This Week on Netflix, Apple, TV and More (Jan. 22-28)

When the weather outside is frightful, you can unwind with new shows to watch this week on Netflix, Apple TV Plus, other streaming services, and broadcast and cable TV.

New shows this week include Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks' latest World War II drama, "Masters of the Air." Nicole Kidman stars in the Hong Kong-set limited series drama "Expats." The new season of "Queer Eye" heads back to New Orleans, while "The Bachelor" Season 28 puts Joey Graziadei in the spotlight. New shows to watch this week include.

Last season's "Bachelorette" runner-up Joey Graziadei gets a chance to find love as the lead. Instead, he will have to find "the one" among 32 women. As usual, Joey dates and hands over roses in lands from Los Angeles to Malta to Montreal, but this time there are some new surprises in store. And it wouldn't be "The Bachelor" without drama, personality clashes, and lots of tears.

Premieres Monday, January 22 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC (via Sling or Fubo). Available the next day on Hulu

The Fab Five are back. Interior designer Bobby Burke leaves the series after this season, which is set in New Orleans for the second time. As always, Burke, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Polowski, and Jonathan Van Ness spend a week with local guest stars to help them improve various aspects of their lives. This season's "heroes" include a former nun turned social justice lawyer, a Louisiana School for the Deaf football coach, and a traditional jazz clarinet player.

Sofia Vergara is eager for everyone to see that she can do more than play the goofy housewife on "Modern Family." She goes rogue in this limited series inspired by the life of Griselda Blanco, a cunning and ambitious figure who built one of the most fearsome cartels in history. set in Miami in the 1970s and 1980s, Blanco combines unexpected brutality and charm, the realm of business and family and deftly maneuvers her way through the world of business and family, earning her the infamous nickname "Godmother."

Zach Woods ("Silicon Valley"), co-creator and voice of this animated comedy, likes to tell us, "We love public radio. In other words, it skewers NPR culture, but in a loving way. Lauren Caspian is NPR's third most popular host, a benevolent, hypocritical nihilist. And he's a stop-motion puppet. All episodes follow Loren and his crew as they produce his show, In the Know. Celebrities such as Ken Burns, Norah Jones, Jonathan Van Ness, Finn Wolfhard, and Mike Tyson appear on the show. The newly mechanized Skeletor manipulates the power of the motherboard to launch an attack on Eternia's core. Meanwhile, Prince Adam faces new responsibilities and the implications for his role as He-Man. He faces a critical choice between the scepter and the sword, torn between his life as king or as champion.

A prequel series to the 2000 British cult gangster film, Gull is caught up in the fascinating madness of London's criminal society during the volatile 1990s. The film follows the complex relationship between Dove (James McArdle) and Don Logan (Emun Elliott). Best friends and small-town thieves, the two carve out a niche for themselves and come to the attention of gangster Teddy Bass (Stephen Moyer). But when Gal gets involved with adult film star Dee Dee Harrison (Sarah Greene), everything starts to go awry.

Lulu Wang, best known for her indie film "The Farewell," adapts Janice Y.K. Lee's best-selling novel "The Expatriates" into a Set in Hong Kong in 2014, the lives of three women intersect. Margaret (Nicole Kidman) is a world-renowned American architect, preoccupied with the problems of an ambitious skyscraper project. Hilary (Sarayu Blue), a British expatriate, is eager to have a child despite her unstable marriage. And Marcy (Yoo Ji-young), a Korean-American college graduate, is caught up in a scandal, hoping to leave her tumultuous past behind and make a fresh start.

This World War II drama complements the story of "Band of Brothers" (2001) and "The Pacific" (2010), which aired on HBO. Produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, the series is an adaptation of Donald L. Miller's book of the same title. Masters of the Air chronicles the harrowing experiences of the 100th Bomb Group (known as the "Bloody Centurions") as they embark on a dangerous bombing mission over Nazi Germany. The story unfolds against a backdrop of freezing conditions, lack of oxygen, and the horrors of combat taking place at a tremendous altitude of 25,000 feet above the ground.

The crime drama's third and final season brings the story of the opioid crisis on picturesque Cape Cod to an explosive conclusion. Former addict and cop Jackie Quiñones (Monica Raymond) is still struggling to get her life together. Despite this, she is determined to do her job to the fullest. Meanwhile, Detective Ray Abruzzo (James Badge Dale) has inner demons to overcome. Eventually it comes down to a decision, and Jackie has to choose sides.
