After a long wait, Netflix has finally officially announced the release date for "Squid Game" Season 2.

As part of a recent shareholder letter (discovered by Variety), it was confirmed that "Squid Game" Season 2 will premiere on the streaming service later this year. No specifics beyond "2024" are available at this time, but expect more significant updates in the coming months.

For now, we can only speculate on the exact timing of "Squid Game" Season 2 coming to Netflix, but it seems certain that it will be later this year. The first season will be available in September 2021, and perhaps the second season will be available around the same time. Netflix has not yet shared plot details for Season 2 of "Squid Game," but series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said in an interview with The Korea Herald that there will be "new games and characters, and a deeper plot and message."
