Full Trailer for "Deadpool 3" Unveiled at Super Bowl 2024 - First Look at Wolverine

I got to see Deadpool 3 for the first time during the Super Bowl 2024 live stream. And it looks like everyone's favorite foul-mouthed superhero will have to team up with his old friends if he has any hope of surviving the multiverse.

Sunday's trailer confirmed earlier rumors that the Time Varying Bureau, the multiverse-hopping bureaucracy at the center of the "Loki" TV series on Disney Plus, will play a key role in Deadpool's next adventure.

The film marks the mouthpiece's entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, making him Disney's first R-rated superhero. Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters July 25. You can check out the trailer below.

The trailer opens with Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) celebrating his birthday with Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Colossus (voiced by Stefan Kapicic), and the non-mutant characters from the previous two films It begins, before TVA agents break in and break up the party. And within the opening 30 seconds, Deadpool has already broken the fourth wall.

"Pegs aren't new to me, but they are to Disney," he chides.

While being guided through TVA by a new character named Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen), he hears the "fate of the multiverse is at stake" complaint he's heard in the last few Marvel films. In typical Deadpool fashion, he kicks butt, takes names, declares himself "Marvel Jesus," and embarks on a bloody rampage against his enemies. At the end of the trailer, Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine and delivers a blow to Deadpool before abruptly switching to the title card.

"Deadpool and Wolverine" is the centerpiece of an unusually dry year for Marvel. The upcoming Marvel film is the only major film the MCU has scheduled for this year. In addition to the return of Reynolds and Jackman, The Hollywood Reporter previously reported news that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in the film. This version of the character first appeared in 20th Century Fox's Daredevil and the standalone film Elektra.
