Say goodbye to February and hello to March with a look at new shows premiering this week on Netflix, Disney Plus, other streaming services, and on broadcast and cable TV

Every network and broadcaster is desperately looking for the next "Game of Thrones" (HBO solved that by just making a prequel) And now FX is betting on this epic adaptation of James Clavell's 1975 novel of the same name, set in feudal Japan circa 1600 and featuring shipwrecked English sailor John Blackthorne (Cosmo Jarvis), a formidable lord Toranga (Sanada) with dangerous rivals Hiroyuki), and Lady Mariko (Anna Sawai), a woman from a disgraced family who must prove her worth in an unforgiving society Battles, intrigue, power struggles, and a bit of romance unfold with impeccable direction The next "Game of Thrones" may be here

Premieres on Hulu on February 27 at 12 am ET

Eighteen new castaways head to a secluded beach in Fiji to outwit, outmaneuver, and outwit each other for the title of Saul Survivor and a prize of $1 million As has been the case in recent years on the show, the matches will run for 26 days, and Castaway will start with three separate tribes But while the past few seasons have been surprisingly calm and serene, Season 46 will bring fireworks in the form of arguments According to the contestants, things are about to get a little "spicy" Please enjoy the show

Premieres March 1 at 3 am ET on Disney Plus Kate Winslet returns to HBO to star in a limited series following her critically acclaimed "Mare of Easttown" The Regime" has the feel of "Succession," a darkly comedic look at a year in the life of a crumbling authoritarian government Winslet is the prime minister of a fictional central European dictatorship that finds its position threatened by the domestic turmoil caused by the imprisonment of the opposition leader (Hugh Grant) The prime minister confronts all sides, including her own husband (Guillaume Gallienne) and the US Secretary of State (Martha Plimpton)
