"Manhunt" is shaping up to be a huge hit for Apple. This conspiracy thriller revolves around the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, one of the most famous but least understood crimes in American history.

Based on the nonfiction book by New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award-winning author James L. Swanson, this seven-episode miniseries follows Edwin Stanton (Tobias Menzies), Secretary of War under Lincoln, as he pursues John Wilkes Booth, and follows his pursuit of Wilkes Booth. After Booth's dramatic escape from Ford's Theater at the end of the American Civil War, he is pursued by authorities through the streets of Washington, D.C., across the swamps of Maryland, and into the woods of Virginia.

Premieres March 15 on Apple TV Plus

One of the most anticipated series of the year, "Palm Royal," debuts this month on Apple TV Plus after SNL native Kristen Wiig is abandoned by her husband and social circle in the summer of 1969, She plays Maxine Simmons, an outsider trying to break into the Palm Royal Club (and by extension, Florida's high society).
