March is packed with Hulu premieres, including a hot prestige drama series set in World War II and the second season of a popular superhero comedy. new Hulu originals for March include the Canadian The new releases include the teen comedy "Davey & Jonesie's Locker," and the second season of "Fright Krewe," an animated teen horror series from co-creator Eli Roth. [Queens," narrated by Angela Bassett and focusing on women in the animal kingdom, and Photographer, which showcases world-class nature photographers; ABC ("Grey's Anatomy," "Station 19") and FOX ("So You Think You Can Dance, and The Masked Singer), as well as a new season of FX's original documentary Spermworld. Below are highlights of Hulu's new programming for March 2024.

The sheer number of superhero movies and TV series released on a regular basis makes it difficult to find new takes on the genre, but this British comedy series offers a fresh and entertaining approach: in a world where nearly everyone gains super powers at age 18, aimless Jen (Máiréad Tyers), a young man, is an unusual incapacitated person who overcomes familiar relationship and career struggles along with the stigma of not having superpowers.

The show's second season promises more comedic difficulties as Jen and her roommates deal with the demise of their romantic relationship. Jen has her own romantic challenges with a shapeshifter boyfriend who has been stuck as a cat for three years. Nothing is easy for her in this quirky genre comedy, but she also enrolls in a clinic that promises to eventually reveal her super powers.

Premieres March 6 on Hulu

Executive produced by hip-hop icons Luther Campbell, Jermaine Dupri, and 21 Savage of 2 Live Crew, the documentary chronicles Atlanta's rise through the 1980s and 1990s as the hip-hop capital of It chronicles the groundbreaking events that firmly established Atlanta as the center of hip-hop in the 1980s and '90s. What began as a student-organized spring break cookout, Freaknik grew into a massive festival that incorporated many aspects of Atlanta's burgeoning underground black culture, from the music to the food.

Director P. Frank Williams explores the legacy of the Freaknik Festival, which was discontinued in 1999 but continues to be a vital influence on hip-hop 25 years later. All-star artists such as Lil Jon, Killer Mike, Too Short, and Cee Lo Green participate in the documentary, which shows just how far-reaching the importance of Freaknik still is.

Premieres March 21 on Hulu

After last year's acclaimed Nat Geo limited series "A Small Light," Hulu returns with this series based on Georgia Hunter's best-selling novel, set during the Holocaust with The original drama will air for the first time. Inspired by the experiences of Hunter's own ancestors, "Small Light" is the epic story of a Polish Jewish family's attempt to survive World War II for generations.

Joey King and Logan Lerman play members of the Kulk family who take multiple routes to escape the Nazi invasion of Poland. Some travel from Europe to other parts of the world, while others wish to remain hidden. The Kulch family must confront the horrors of war and the Holocaust before they can be reunited and start a new life.
