5 Best Shows Like "Good Trouble" to Watch Now that "Good Trouble" Has Ended

The "Fosters" spin-off series "Good Trouble" has come to an end. After spending so many years with familiar characters, it feels like saying goodbye to family and friends.

"Good Trouble" is a continuation of "Fosters," in which Callie Adams Foster (Maia Mitchell) and Mariana Adams Foster (Sierra Ramirez) embark on a new life in Los Angeles. The show resonated with viewers of all ages, especially those who prefer stories that focus on the young adult experience.

It is always hard to let go of characters who have grown up with you and lived complicated lives. That's why I want to highlight a few shows, like "Good Trouble," that you can watch only now that they are off the air. These shows follow similar themes of growing up: lots of friends, romantic interests, and the drama that comes with those aspects of life.

Loosely inspired by the real life of former Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles, "The Bold Type" depicts the highs and lows of putting together one of the most popular women's magazines in the world. Jane Sloan (Katie Stevens), Kat Edison (Aisha Dee), and Sutton Brady (Megan Fahey), who work at Scarlett, go through the trials and tribulations of career and love. They will be pleasantly surprised to find that their boss, Jacqueline Carlisle (Melora Hardin), is kind and supportive rather than ruthless. Like "Good Trouble," "Bold Type" aired on Freeform and ran for five seasons. There are rumors of a reboot.

If you haven't had a chance to watch "Gilmore Girls," now is the perfect time to watch all seven seasons and the follow-up mini-series, "A Year in the Life." Starring Lauren Graham as Lorelei Gilmore, a 30-something single mother raising a teenage daughter, Rory (Alexis Bledel), their relationship is very unique, as Rory faces challenges as a teenager and Lorelei has her own love, parenting, and career issues Yet, it is how the two remain close. The show's popularity has been revived by the rise of streaming. First-time viewers will love the mother-daughter relationship, romance, and quirky characters.

Veronica inherited his detective skills, so she takes on cases independently at school, giving the show a Nancy Drew vibe, but with more of an edge. Writer/creator Rob Thomas eventually announced a sequel and follow-up season to the film.

It features a narrator (Kristen Bell) who blogs anonymously about their scandals and secrets. The show begins with Selina Van Der Woodsen (Blake Lively) reuniting with her best friend Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) after a mysterious absence and bringing in newcomer Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley). The show ran for six seasons." Now that I'm done watching "Good Trouble," I can fully enjoy it.
