Samsung Galaxy Book 4 lineup leaked.

Samsung Galaxy Book 4 lineup leaked.

The entire Samsung Galaxy Book 4 lineup has been leaked, and according to sources at Windows Report, the South Korean tech giant plans to launch five new Galaxy Book devices in 2024. The site also claims that several configurations will feature the new Intel Core Ultra processor.

According to the purported leaks, the models in question are the Galaxy Book 4, Galaxy Book 4 360, Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro, and finally the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. Like the current Galaxy Book 3 lineup, the new laptops will be powered by Intel CPUs; the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will feature the RTX 4070 mobile GPU, an upgrade from the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra's RTX 4050. Some configurations will also feature an Intel Arc GPU.

The laptop is powered by a 14th generation Intel Core Raptor Lake Refresh processor and an Intel Core Ultra "Meteor Lake" processor. The latter is most interesting because it features a new chiplet design and focuses on AI.

With the exception of the entry-level Galaxy Book 4, the Galaxy Book 4 lineup features AMOLED displays. The notebooks also offer USB-C, USB-A, microSD, and HDMI port options. As expected, these Windows 11 laptops will be thin and light, which has become a feature of the lineup.

The leaked information does not mention pricing. If the rumors are true, Meteor Lake chips could be more expensive than existing Intel CPUs. This is my speculation, but I imagine that the Galaxy Book 4 and perhaps the Galaxy Book 4 360 will be priced similarly to the current models. The other models, especially the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra, with its Meteor Lake chip and discrete GPU, could squeeze the wallet.

None of the above is official, and this supposed leak should be viewed with a healthy skepticism. Nevertheless, it is inevitable that Samsung will announce a successor series to the Galaxy Book 3 lineup. In that sense, the reported leak does not speak to anything we could not have already guessed.

Still, if you are a fan of Samsung's tablets or are interested in trying out the company's notebooks, the Galaxy Book 4 lineup could be a good entry point. Hopefully, Samsung won't charge too much for these notebooks.
