The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra appears to be imminent.

The existence of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was quickly confirmed by the NBTC, Thailand's equivalent of the FCC (via MySmartPrice).

The regulator's list clearly mentions the name "Galaxy S24 Ultra" and the model number SM-S928B/DS. Unfortunately, it only confirms that the phone will support 5G connectivity, but says nothing else interesting.

When certifications like this start to appear, it is a strong sign that the phone is about to be launched, and since the S24 series will apparently debut on January 17 next year, it makes sense that Samsung has started sending samples to regulators so that it can start selling the phone as soon as possible.

Other rumors.

Other rumors suggest that Samsung will be quite focused on the AI capabilities of the Galaxy S24 series and is definitely trying to steal some of the Google Pixel 8's thunder. In fact, some sources claim that the S24 series will be branded as an "AI" phone.

Besides that, we hear that the Galaxy S24 Ultra could feature titanium sides, a 144Hz display refresh rate, and a reworked telephoto camera. We will also likely see some features similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, such as a 200MP main camera and a 6.8-inch body.

For users in the US, the Galaxy S24 should follow the Galaxy S23 with a Snapdragon chipset (probably the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3). However, other regions may use Samsung's Exynos 2400 chip instead, which could make a difference in performance depending on where the S24 is purchased.

If the Galaxy S24 series is launched in January, we can expect to see more evidence of the existence of these phones from regulatory authorities in various countries in the near future. We also expect to hear a few more rumors about other features that we will be able to try when we finally get our hands on the new handsets.
