AI for your ears - LG's new soundbar can automatically adjust Dolby Atmos based on your room acoustics.

CES 2024 is fast approaching and many products will be announced, the first of which is LG's soundbar lineup.

LG announced in a press release that the 2024 soundbars will feature several features that will make them stand out from the crowd, primarily focusing on TV synergy and audio immersion: the two newest soundbar models in the lineup include the SG10T and S70TY, while the S95 TR is an upgraded version of LG's S95QR for 2023.

Among the features coming to next year's lineup is a new AI room calibration feature that "quickly analyzes the room environment and adjusts settings" for both front and rear surround speakers. With newly designed internals and a rich feature set that cleverly combines with certain LG TVs, these new soundbars may prove to make a big difference in everyday entertainment consumption.

As already mentioned, LG's new 2024 soundbar lineup consists of three main products: the S95TR, SG10T, and S70TY The S95TR is LG's flagship model; the SG10T is LG's newest model; and the S70TY is LG's newest model.

Due to its premium nature, the S95TR comes equipped with all the bells and whistles, including 15 channels, 810W total output, and a different list of internal upgrades than the previous S95QR. The soundbar is slightly larger to better compensate for these internal improvements.

The S95TR features an enhanced passive radiator and upgraded tweeters for impeccable sound quality and boosted bass. Also, the five dedicated upward-facing drivers make it quite a beast for Dolby Atmos lovers, but note that, in contrast to other new LG products, this is a wired product.

On that note, the new LG SG10T is a wireless soundbar with a few clever tricks up its sleeve. Most obvious is the ultra-slim design, intended to make wall mounting much easier and to fit more neatly into LG's G-series OLEDs, such as the LG G3 OLED, which this soundbar specifically supports.

In the more mid-range category is the S70TY, another wireless soundbar made specifically for LG's QNED TV models, utilizing LG's up-firing channel speakers, the LG QNED80, QNED85, QNED90, QNED95, LG QNED99 televisions and are designed to aesthetically match each other.

Little else has been announced by LG regarding the exciting internals of the new soundbar models, and pricing will likely remain a question mark until CES 2024.

However, LG did highlight some key features that these models will turn your TV viewing into a spectacle.

So which features are unique to LG TVs: by utilizing the WoWCast feature, soundbars like the aforementioned SG10T and S70TY can wirelessly transmit Dolby Atmos sound to other compatible devices, such as LG TVs and alternative LG soundbars LG TVs, or alternative LG soundbars.

LG's Wow Orchestra is a feature that works with both the TV and the soundbar to achieve perfect sound quality, and has been improved and included in new LG soundbar models.

Finally, the newly introduced Triple Level Spatial Sound technology is another exciting new feature added to LG soundbars that, as stated in the press release, provides "realistic sound and an engaging sense of space." This feature uses a 3D engine to analyze the channels for the most optimal and immersive sound possible. The good news is that this feature is available regardless of whether you own an LG TV or not.

Attendees at CES 2024 in January will get a special taste of LG's new soundbars and the delicious audio enhancements they offer for home cinema LG will be exhibiting at the LA Vegas Convention Center, Central Hall, Booth #15501 The company will be.
