Leak Reveals Google Pixel5a from Every angle

Leak Reveals Google Pixel5a from Every angle

Another leak has revealed what the Google Pixel 5a will look like from all angles

This new look comes courtesy of a 360-degree video by Steve "Onleaks" Hemmerstoffer on Voice The Pixel 5a may look a lot like the Google Pixel 4a, but the latter device was one of the best budget phones we've picked! It was, so that's not a bad thing

This follows the first major Pixel 5a leak just a few days ago, which revealed some images and specs that we'll discuss below

The new video below shows off a familiar looking phone that retains Google's soft textured plastic back from previous Pixel a series phones Interestingly, the power button in this video is the same color as the body, different from the contrasting colors Google has chosen over the past few years

On the front of the Pixel 5a is a flat 62-inch FHD OLED display, with a punch hole camera in the upper left corner

On the back, a dual camera array consisting of a main sensor and an ultrawide sensor can be seen The small sensor below it appears to be a phase detection autofocus system, which constantly checks the light coming into the camera sensor to make sure the subject is in focus

Below that is the rear fingerprint sensor common to the Pixel a series from the original Google Pixel 3a While not as flashy looking as the facial recognition system or the fingerprint sensor under the display, it is still useful and reliable

So far, the Pixel 5a seems to be a re-heated Google Pixel 4a 5G in terms of design, camera, and display; the Pixel 4a 5G is an excellent mid-range phone, but we wanted more changes between one generation and the next

It is possible that these changes will appear under the skin of the Pixel 5a; Hemmerstoffer's leak says nothing about the phone's chipset or camera sensor resolution

These may be downgrades after all, and for good reason: the Pixel 4a that the 5a will replace costs just $349 If Google wants to keep this price below rival models like the iPhone SE, it will have to cut some of the 4a 5G's features

Google launched the Pixel 4 in August and the Pixel 4a 5G in November However, the Pixel 3a was launched in May of the previous year, so it is highly likely that the Pixel 5a will be available again this year

Whenever the Pixel 5a makes an appearance, we greatly expect it to enter our Best Android Phones rankings
