If Bloomberg's report is accurate, the power of the Nintendo Switch family could approach that of the current generation PS5 and Xbox Series X. Details regarding other quality-of-life enhancements, such as extended battery life and additional Bluetooth support, have not been disclosed. It is also unclear if the more powerful Switch Pro will require a new power supply, assuming it requires more power.

Nintendo fans are eagerly awaiting systems that support 4K displays, but the graphic fidelity will not reach the level of the PS5 or Xbox Series X. Therefore, a powerful CPU that would require a large cooling system would not be practical for portability. Still, given the quality of mobile games at the moment, the ability to upscale those images to 4K using AI would be a welcome development for many Nintendo fans.
