Fortnite update 16.10 has been released, improving the graphics on the Nintendo Switch. The update was released yesterday and brings raptors, wolves, and other wildlife to the game. Easter-themed skins were also spotted.

When played on the hybrid console, this means better resolution in handheld and docked modes, more consistent frame rates, and a smoother overall experience.

The studio explained that the Switch version of "Fortnite" will also use dynamic resolution to achieve consistent frame rates, but instances will occur less frequently and the resolution will generally be "significantly higher."

To give you an idea of how much higher the resolution will be, the pre-update portable and docked mode resolutions are 1000 x 560 and 1390 x 780, respectively, while the new resolutions after the update are 1170 x 660 for portable mode and 1560 x 880 for docked mode for the portable mode and 1560 x 880 for the docking mode. Moving on to update 16.10, Epic delves into the new visitors that came to the island in a pristine update. Eggs that were scattered before Easter have hatched and raptors are on the loose.
